Yealink MeetingBar 040-031 with CTP25 Touch Console

The Yealink A40-031 is a Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms system for small and medium meeting rooms, made up of the MeetingBar A40 video bar and the Yealink CTP25 touch console. The A40 covers rooms of up to 12 people with two 48MP cameras and a 6-metre microphone pickup, and the CTP25's 10.1-inch touchscreen controls the meeting from the table. A single Cat5e cable from the bar powers the console and connects it to the network.

A Complete Yealink Teams Room System in One Box

The Yealink A40-031 has everything for the front of the room and the table except the displays. The MeetingBar A40 holds the cameras, microphones, stereo speakers and meeting software, and the CTP25 is where people start and control calls. Both run Android 13.

The kit includes the bar's wall mount and TV-Clip Mount, two HDMI cables, the console's high stand and a 7.5m network cable for the console. The A40 is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms, so no meeting room PC is needed.

One Cable Setup Between the A40 and CTP25

Yealink's one-cable design runs a single Cat5e cable from the bar to the touch console. That cable carries both power and network to the CTP25. Signing in on the CTP25 signs in the whole system.

The CTP25 can also connect to the A40 over the IP network. It can stand on the table on its supplied high stand or be fixed to the wall with the Yealink CTP25 Mount Kit, sold separately.

The CTP25 Touchscreen at the Table

The CTP25 has a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and capacitive multi-touch. Meetings are started, joined and controlled from the screen, with no remote to lose.

The console runs Android 13 and has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB-C ports, a USB-A port and an RJ-45 port. It can be managed through the Yealink web portal, Microsoft Teams Admin Center or Zoom Device Management.

Laptop Sharing and Charging from the Console

A presenter connects a laptop to the CTP25 with one USB-C cable. Yealink says that single cable handles 4K content sharing, BYOD and PD charging of the laptop.

In General Mode, also called BYOM (bring your own meeting), the laptop runs the meeting in its own app and uses the A40 as its camera, microphones and speakers. Teams Rooms shares content at 4K 30fps locally and 1080p 30fps in a meeting.

The A40 stitches the images from two 48MP cameras into one picture with a 110° horizontal, 54° vertical and 120° diagonal view. Video output is 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps, with 6x digital zoom and nine camera presets.

IntelliFocus shows live close-ups of up to four recent speakers. Auto Framing, Speaker Tracking and People Counting run on the bar, and Yealink lists Video Fence for the A40 to keep people outside the meeting space out of the call. An electric lens cap closes over both cameras for privacy.

Sound for a Full Meeting Table

Eight MEMS microphones pick up voices up to 6 metres away, with high-quality pickup within 4 metres. AI noise suppression, reverberation suppression, echo cancellation and automatic gain control are built in, and full-duplex audio works up to 3 metres from the bar.

Two 10W speakers play in stereo at up to 92dB SPL at 1 metre. The A40 supports two optional expansion microphones for longer tables.

Displays, Platforms and Security

Two HDMI outputs, each up to 4K 30fps with HDMI CEC, let the room run one or two displays. HDMI input is available through the Yealink VCH51 sharing kit, sold separately.

Alongside Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms, the A40 supports RingCentral and makes H.323 and SIP calls in General Mode. It is built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), with AES-128 or AES-256 full disk encryption, device attestation and Arm TrustZone key protection.

IT Management for Multi-Room Rollouts

The A40 can be managed from Microsoft Teams Admin Center or Intune, Zoom Device Management, RingCentral Admin Center, or the Yealink Device Management Platform and Management Cloud Service. Firmware, configuration and log exports are handled remotely.

New rooms can be set up by auto-provisioning, and a configuration exported from one room can be imported into the next. The bar connects by Gigabit Ethernet or dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and needs 10Mbps or more.
