Yealink MeetingBar A25-031 with CTP25 Touch Console

The Yealink A25-031 is a meeting room kit that pairs the MeetingBar A25 video bar with the Yealink CTP25 touch console, for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms in focus and huddle rooms. The CTP25 has a 10.1-inch touchscreen that sits on the meeting table, and the A25 has three 4K cameras with a 151° horizontal field of view. Users sign in once on the console and control the meeting from the table.

What is Included in the Yealink A25-031

The A25-031 has two Android 13 devices that work as one system. The MeetingBar A25 is mounted at the display and holds the cameras, microphones, speaker and meeting software. The CTP25 is the control point people use during a meeting. A high stand for the console, a 7.5m network cable and a 65W PD power adapter come in the box, alongside the bar's own wall mount and cables.

Running Meetings from the Yealink CTP25 Touch Console

The CTP25 has a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and capacitive multi-touch. Meetings are started, joined and controlled from the screen, so there is no remote to keep track of.

Users log in once for both devices. The CTP25 runs Android 13, has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, and can be managed through the Yealink web portal, Microsoft Teams Admin Center or Zoom Device Management.

The CTP25 can sit on the meeting table on its supplied high stand or be fixed to the wall. Wall mounting uses the Yealink CTP25 Mount Kit, which is sold separately. The console connects to the A25 either directly or over the IP network, so it can go wherever suits the room layout.

Sharing a Laptop Screen Through the Console

The CTP25 has two USB-C ports. A presenter can plug a laptop into the console to share content at up to 4K, or use the A25 as the laptop's camera and audio in BYOD meetings. Yealink says the USB-C connection can also charge the laptop from the console's 65W PD power adapter.

In Microsoft Teams Rooms, local sharing in the room runs at 4K 30fps and sharing in a meeting runs at 1080p 30fps. Zoom Rooms shares at up to 1080p 30fps.

Camera Coverage for Focus and Huddle Rooms

The A25 uses three 4K cameras with 8MP sensors. The ultra-wide camera covers 151° horizontally and 81° vertically, and the two tele cameras cover 84.4° horizontally for closer shots.

IntelliFocus picks out up to two recent speakers and shows them in live close-up views. Auto Framing and Speaker Tracking adjust the shot as people join, leave and talk. Video Fence sets the edges of the meeting space, so people walking past a glass wall stay out of the call. Smart Gallery is available on Zoom Rooms. An electric lens cap closes over the cameras when privacy is needed.

Audio Pickup Across the Meeting Table

An array of eight MEMS microphones picks up voices up to 5 metres from the bar, with the clearest pickup within 3.5 metres. AI noise suppression, echo cancellation and automatic gain control are built in, and full-duplex audio covers 3 metres from the bar.

The 10W speaker reaches 90dB SPL at 1 metre. Expansion microphones are not supported, so plan the room so everyone sits within 5 metres of the bar.

Platform Support and Security

The A25 is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms, and it also supports RingCentral. In General Mode it makes H.323 and SIP calls to standards-based video systems. Both devices run Android 13, and the A25 is built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP).

The bar's storage is protected by full disk encryption with AES-128 or AES-256. Device attestation protects its identity, and Arm TrustZone protects its encryption keys.

Deployment and Remote Management

IT teams can manage the bar from Microsoft Teams Admin Center or Intune, Zoom Device Management, or the Yealink Device Management Platform and Yealink Management Cloud Service. Firmware upgrades and configuration changes can be made remotely.

New rooms can be set up by auto-provisioning, and a configuration exported from one room can be imported into the next. The bar connects to the network by Gigabit Ethernet or Wi-Fi 6 and needs 10Mbps or more of bandwidth.
