The ALE-20 provides the essential calling features required for busy offices, reception areas and general business environments. Its clear 2.8-inch monochrome LCD display with white backlight provides easy access to call information, menus and telephone functions.

A four-way navigation control with OK and cancel keys helps users move through the phone's menus, while dedicated function keys provide convenient access to frequently used calling features.

Dual Gigabit Ethernet Connectivity

Equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet connections, the ALE-20 provides high-speed network connectivity for modern IP telephone installations.

The integrated PC Ethernet port enables a compatible computer and the ALE-20 to share a network connection, helping reduce the number of individual network points required at a workstation.

Clear Wideband Audio

Designed to deliver clear business conversations, the ALE-20 supports wideband audio in IP mode, helping provide natural and intelligible speech during telephone calls.

The integrated full-duplex hands-free speakerphone allows users to handle calls without lifting the handset, while echo suppression helps maintain clear two-way conversations.

Programmable Keys for Easier Call Handling

The ALE-20 incorporates 2 x 3 contextual programmable keys, providing convenient access to telephone functions based on the user's configuration.

Dedicated keys are also provided for commonly used functions including mute, volume adjustment, hands-free operation, redial, information and messaging, helping make everyday call handling quicker and easier.

Power over Ethernet

Support for IEEE Power over Ethernet – PoE Class 1 allows the ALE-20 to receive network connectivity and power through its Ethernet connection when connected to compatible PoE infrastructure.

This can simplify desk installations by reducing the need for a separate mains power connection for the telephone.

An optional compatible USB-C power adapter can also be used where required - not included but available separately.

USB-A & USB-C Connectivity

The ALE-20 features both USB-A and USB-C interfaces, providing additional flexibility for compatible accessories and power options.

An RJ9 interface is also provided for connection of a compatible headset or ALE-10 alphabetic keyboard, giving users additional options for adapting the phone to their working requirements.

Expandable to Suit Your Workplace

For users requiring additional telephone controls, the ALE-20 supports optional ALE EM200 Smart Expansion Modules, with up to three expansion modules supported depending on the system configuration.

An optional ALE-10 alphabetic keyboard and wall mounting kit are also available, allowing the phone to be adapted for different workplace requirements.

Compatible ALE Business Communications

The ALE-20 has been developed for deployment with compatible Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise business communication systems, including ALE OmniPCX Enterprise and OXO environments.
