The industrial grade DTEx DMR Digital Series has been built to withstand daily use in extreme and hostile environments. The ATEX certified portable delivers remarkably loud and clear audio, and has beem designed with ultra tactile buttons and high torque controls that allow the DTEx to be operated with gloved hands.

The DTEx Series sets the benchmark for next generation onboard Radios with a market leading IP68 submersible rating (Submersible in up to 2 Metres for up to 4 Hours). The DT985M can be depended on to withstand extreme and hostile environments at sea.

Channels

The Entel DT985M Marine can be programmed with both analogue and digital channels, this is indicated on the display together with the frequency. if a semi duplex channel is programmed, the word Repeater will be displayed instead of the frequency.

IP68 Rating

The Entel DT985M offers the highest submersibility rating of any manufacturer. This protects against corrosion, withstanding total immersion in water to a depth of 2 metres for 4 hours to protect against any hazards encountered in extremely wet environments.

High Contrast White on Black OLED Display

The DT985M benefits from a high contrast white on black OLED display that delivers superior readability in varying light conditions adding to the DT985M's Intuitive user interface.

Li-Ion Battery & Improved Talk Time

Entel's DT985M Radio is supplied with the latest intelligent Lithium-Ion Battery Technology as standard. One of he benefits of the Lithium-Ion Battery are that it elimiates memory effect meaning that there is no need to fully discharge your battery before recharging, ensuring a full charge each time your Radio is removed from the charger.

Robust Accessory Socket

The Accessory Socket has been specially designed so when an accessory is secured to the Radio, the connection is able to withstand any amount of punishment, from dropping to careless misuse. The rugged multi-pin interface and Micro-USB Socket are both submersible and are gold plated, minimising any risk of damage and protecting against corrosion.

To ensure the integrity of IS protection levels any accessory connected to the handset automatically undergoes a validation process to safeguard against non-compliant accessories being used. All DT985M accessories incorporate a robust locking connector to further safeguard the safety of the user.

Simple on Board Re-Programming App

The free, unique and simple PC app allows you to re-program the DT985M Radio, whilst still onboard. The user friendly app makes it easy to drag and drop a new programming file from an email to your DT985M Radio. This can be carried out quickly and easily even by non technical personnel.

Keylock

To Avoid accidental operation, the Radios Keys and Controls can be locked.

Programmable Channel Monitor Button

If you have channel protection enabled on your DT985M portable, all signals other than your own networks will be filtered out. This can be temporarily disabled allowing you to monitor all signals on your channel.

IP Site Roaming

This provides large area coverage by seamlessly roaming between multiple DMR Repeaters.

Table Scan

Enables multiple, advanced, channel scan lists which are pre-programmed by your Entel dealer.
