The Project Telecom PT101-FK Weatherproof Outdoor Telephone is a robust industrial communications solution engineered for environments where reliability, durability, and environmental protection are critical. Available with Analogue, SIP or GSM / 4G connectivity, the PT101-FK can be integrated into traditional telephony systems, modern IP networks, or mobile communications infrastructure, providing a versatile solution for a wide range of applications.
Featuring a rugged cast aluminium enclosure, weather-sealed front door, full keypad, reinforced steel faceplate, and IP66-rated weather protection, this heavy-duty telephone is designed to deliver dependable communication in demanding industrial and outdoor environments. Available in Yellow, Red, Blue, and Grey, the PT101-FK can be selected to suit site visibility requirements, safety standards, or installation preferences.
Ideal for factories, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, transport hubs, utility sites, ports, marine environments, tunnels, car parks, security installations, construction projects, and public assistance points, the PT101-FK combines exceptional durability with flexible connectivity options, making it well suited to critical communications and infrastructure applications.
The PT101-FK has been specifically engineered for locations where conventional telephones may be exposed to harsh weather, dust, moisture, impacts, or vandalism. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminium, the telephone provides outstanding protection and long-term performance in challenging conditions.
Its IP66-rated enclosure protects against dust ingress and powerful water jets, making it ideal for exposed outdoor installations. The integrated weather-sealed front door provides additional protection for the handset and keypad, helping to maintain reliable operation throughout the year.
Whether deployed in manufacturing plants, warehouses, rail networks, ports, tunnels, utility facilities, construction sites, transport infrastructure, or public access areas, the PT101-FK is built to provide dependable communications where reliability cannot be compromised.
Its IK10-rated vandal-resistant construction makes it particularly suitable for public-facing environments, remote locations, and high-traffic areas where equipment must continue operating despite heavy use, accidental damage, or deliberate abuse.
The PT101-FK has been designed for simple and intuitive operation in demanding environments. Large tactile rubber buttons allow reliable use while wearing protective gloves, while the full keypad provides access to essential functions including speed dial, recall, mute, and last number redial.
The protective front door opens easily for access and helps shield the handset and keypad from dust, moisture, and environmental exposure when not in use.
An integrated inductive coupler is fitted as standard to improve accessibility for hearing aid users, while the high-output warble ringer helps ensure incoming calls are clearly heard in busy industrial and outdoor environments.
Designed for continuous operation in harsh conditions, the PT101-FK combines a corrosion-resistant cast aluminium housing, protective weather-sealed front door, reinforced steel faceplate, and stainless-steel armoured handset cord to withstand years of demanding use.
With a calculated MTBF exceeding 50,000 hours, the PT101-FK is engineered to minimise maintenance requirements, maximise system availability, and provide dependable communications in mission-critical applications.
The PT101-FK is available in three connectivity variants, allowing it to integrate into virtually any communications infrastructure.
The analogue version connects directly to standard analogue telephone lines, including PSTN and PABX systems. Powered directly from the telephone line, it provides a simple and reliable communication solution for sites utilising traditional telephony infrastructure.
The SIP version connects directly to SIP telephone systems, IP-PBX platforms and VoIP networks via standard RJ45 Ethernet connections. Supporting SIP 2.0, dual SIP servers, PoE (Power over Ethernet) and web-based configuration, it provides a flexible and scalable communication solution for modern IP telephony environments.
The GSM / 4G version communicates via GSM and 4G mobile networks using a Micro SIM card, providing a flexible communication solution where fixed telephone lines or IP networks are unavailable.
Supporting multiple GSM, WCDMA and LTE frequency bands, the telephone can be remotely configured via SMS messaging and supports remote status reporting for simplified management of deployed units. This version is ideal for remote infrastructure, utility sites, transport networks and temporary installations.
The PT101-FK is available in Yellow, Blue, Red and Grey finishes, allowing the telephone to be selected to suit site requirements, visibility needs and installation environments.
