The Project Telecom PT-TH-01 Acoustic Hood is a heavy-duty industrial acoustic enclosure designed to significantly improve voice intelligibility in high-noise environments. Manufactured from impact-resistant SMC fibreglass and lined with an 80mm acoustic polyurethane layer, the PT-TH-01 reduces surrounding noise by up to 23dB, creating a safer and more effective communication point for telephones, intercoms and emergency communication equipment. Designed for both indoor and outdoor installations, the PT-TH-01 provides excellent protection against harsh weather, UV exposure, freezing temperatures, high heat, flames, dust and corrosion, making it ideal for demanding industrial, marine and offshore applications.

The PT-TH-01 is supplied with a robust SUS304 stainless-steel mounting backplate capable of supporting communication equipment weighing up to 30kg. Heavy-duty stainless-steel wall mounting brackets provide secure installation, whilst optional mounting hole configurations can be supplied to suit specific communication equipment and installation requirements.
