The feature rich DP4801Ex ATEX Certified Portable Radio provides unmatched voice and data communications. It includes text messaging, a full-colour display with day/night mode for easy reading, and best-in-class audio with Intelligent Audio and customisable voice announcements.

Available in both UHF and VHF frequency bands, the DP4801Ex is built for demanding work. It features a 5 line display, a full keypad, and a 1,000 channel capacity. For safety, it includes five programmable buttons, an emergency button, and man down and lone worker functions. Plus, its IP67 rating means it's fully submersible.

With exceptional voice quality, long battery life, and ATEX certification, the DP4801Ex Series UHF Radios also meet the strict marine requirements of SOLAS Chapter II-2 Regulation 10.10.4 for fire-fighter radios. They are certified to the 2014/90/EU Marine Equipment Directive and the Merchant Shipping (Marine Equipment) Regulations 2016. These radios carry both the Wheel Mark and Red Ensign Mark, confirming they meet all marine safety standards.

This multi-site digital trunking configuration for the MOTOTRBO platform merges the high capacity of Capacity Plus with the extensive coverage capabilities of IP Site Connect. The result is an affordable solution that connects staff across various locations with a high-capacity, wide-area trunking network.

Rugged and Reliable Design

The radio is sealed tightly to resist wind and dust, and it can be submerged in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes (IP67 rated).
