Connected

The MOTOTRBO DP2000e Series is a family of ETSI DMR Standards compliant digital radios that delivers operation critical voice communications. With a single button push, workers can communicate for greater efficiency and enhanced safety. With support for basic trunking as well as legacy analogue technology, you can keep your organisation connected as it grows.

Safe

The DP2000e Series is designed to improve safety in your organisation, with the rapid response capability of instantaneous push-to-talk communications. Even if a worker is unresponsive, you can remotely activate the radio to check that your worker is safe. Privacy options are available to prevent others listening in on your communications, and radios can be remotely disabled if they are misplaced or stolen.

Efficient

With new Noise Cancellation Technology and enhanced clarity, the DP2000e Series delivers excellent audio quality to make your workplace communications clearly intelligible. The latest energy technology delivers up to 28 hours of battery life for 3-shift working, and the optional IMPRES Over-the-Air Battery Management tool helps you maximise battery lifetime. An improved receiver boosts range by up to 8%, allowing you to reach further than ever.

Drop Testing

Motorola Solutions Radios are built to be tough. To prove it, we drop-test our heavy-duty casings 42 times from 120cm (4ft) onto concrete and repeatedly strike the screen and speakers with steel balls. This rigorous testing ensures the Radios can withstand the knocks and drops of your daily work, providing you with a reliable device that lasts.

Environmental Protection Testing

Since electronics are vulnerable to damage from dust and water, the protection provided by our Radio casings is crucial. We measure this protection with the Ingress Protection (IP) Rating, but we also subject our Radios to MIL-STD-810 testing, including blowing rain, which better simulates real outdoor conditions.

The Motorola DP2600e Series have an IP Rating of IP67 meaning they are dust tight and protected againt immersion in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.

Frequencies

The Motorola DP2400e is available in both UHF and VHF.

The Frequency UHF (403-470 MHz), is generally better for indoor use, built-up areas, and environments with obstructions like buildings and concrete, as UHF waves can penetrate these materials more effectively.

The Frequency VHF (136-174 MHz), is generally better for outdoor use and open areas, as VHF waves travel further over clear lines of sight.
