About the Motorola DP1400e

The Motorola Solutions DP1400e, the entry level Radio from Motorola provides the high end features you'd expect from a more advanced model. As part of the MOTOTRBO family, it delivers superior audio quality, outstanding coverage, and long lasting battery life.

With 32 channels, the DP1400e lets you organise your workforce into specific talk groups, ensuring more effective communication. The radio's ergonomic design offers a comfortable and secure grip, even with gloves on, whilst its programmable buttons and extensive accessory options provide the flexibility to customise it for any user or task.

When communication is critical, you need a Radio you can rely on. That's why the DP1400e is built to withstand the toughest of conditions. Motorola Solutions tests the DP1400 to military standards (MIL-STD-810) to make sure it's durable enough for any job. Special Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) is also performed to ensure that your Radio will last for years, even with heavy use.

Whatever your needs, the DP1400e provides a straightforward and dependable way for your team to connect, coordinate, and get the job done right. This cost-effective radio combines the best of analogue and digital technology, making it an ideal choice for everyday users who value staying in touch.

Connect, Coordinate, Collaborate

For clear, instant, and reliable communication, companies around the world rely on Two Way Radios. They are the essential tool for connecting people wherever they work.

Two Way Radios are the smarter option for your business. More durable and reliable than Phones, they are also more cost effective. With the push of a button, you get instant group communication, making them far easier to use in a professional setting.

Radios connect your teams across the facility, enabling them to connect easily, coordinate projects and collaborate effectively. By providing reliable and easy to use communication, the DP1400e helps streamline your operations, boosting worker efficiency, productivity, and safety.

Flexible Way to Work

Like all MOTOTRBO radios, the DP1400 features Direct Mode Operation. This allows you to connect radio-to-radio for basic voice, data, and text without needing any network infrastructure.

Unlike many digital radios, the DP1400 can use two time slots for extra call capacity, even in direct mode. If you need greater coverage or more system capacity, you can also use the DP1400 with a MOTOTRBO Repeater to amplify signals and unlock advanced system features.

Frequencies

The Motorola DP1400e is available in both UHF and VHF Frequencies.

  • UHF Frequency (400-470 MHz) - This Frequency is Generally Better for Indoor use, Built-Up Areas, and Environments with Obstructions like Buildings and Concrete - UHF Waves can Penetrate these Materials more Effectively
  • VHF Frequency (136-174 MHz) - This Frequency is Generally Better for Outdoor use and Open Areas - VHF Waves Travel Further Over Clear Lines of Sight

Licensed Radio

This Radio Requires an Ofcom License to operate - if you do not already have an Existing Ofcom Radio License, you will need to purchase a License before using the Radio.
