Push-to-Talk

Experience ergonomic excellence with the JPL Scout, featuring a pistol grip design for intuitive operation. With your finger resting naturally on the trigger, a simple push provides seamless microphone activation, allowing you to transmit your voice effortlessly. Releasing the trigger instantly mutes the call, giving you precise control. For added convenience, an LED indicator illuminates green when the microphone is active and red when muted, providing clear visual feedback.

Long Wireless Range

The JPL Scout 3100 provides a wireless range of up to 400 feet (120m) in line of sight, enabling reliable coverage even across expansive communication and dispatch facilities. This extended distance translates directly into enhanced versatility and higher value for the user.

Effortless Volume Control

Adjusting volume levels couldn’t be easier with the JPL Scout 3100. The thumb wheel on the handset provides simple control over your hearing volume, while a dedicated button on the back of the base unit manages your outbound voice volume. This straightforward design ensures quick and periodic adjustments are seamless.

Talk Time

The JPL Scout 3100 includes two batteries: one ready for immediate use, and a second placed in the charging base for standby. When power runs low, you can perform a hot-swap - simply replace the used battery with the charged standby unit, even during a live call, ensuring uninterrupted operation.

DECT Security

As a DECT device, the JPL Scout 3100 meets high security standards, featuring Step C security and FIPS-140-2 encryption. Communicate with confidence, knowing your conversations are safe and secure.
