Jabra Evolve2 40 - USB-A UC Stereo Headset - Refurbished

The Jabra Evolve2 40 USB-A UC Stereo Headset is a corded, two-ear headset for people who spend much of the working day on calls from a computer, in an office or at home. It plugs into a USB-A port and has three microphones and 40mm speakers, with memory foam ear cushions that cut out background noise.

Key Features

• Three microphones and Jabra's digital chipset pick up your voice clearly on calls
• The 40mm speakers are leak-tolerant, so sound quality holds up when the earcups aren't sitting perfectly
• Oval memory foam ear cushions and angled earcups give passive noise isolation, so you hear less of the room around you
• A busylight on both earcups shows colleagues you're on a call, and it is visible from any angle. Press volume up and volume down together to switch it on or off
• Lift the boom arm to mute and lower it to unmute. Lowering the boom arm also answers an incoming call
• Earcup buttons answer and reject calls, adjust volume, mute, play, pause or skip music
• Firmware can be updated and settings changed through Jabra Direct and Jabra Xpress

Jabra Evolve2 40 Specifications

Who this USB Headset Suits

The Evolve2 40 suits anyone who takes calls through a softphone or UC app on a laptop or desktop and needs to concentrate in a noisy space. Typical buyers include:

• Open-plan offices, where the busylight cuts down on interruptions mid-call
• Hybrid staff who work between home and the office and want the same headset in both places
• Inside sales and customer service teams who are on calls for several hours a day
• Ideal for Hot-desking teams - simply plug the headset into a USB-A port with no base station or charging

Because it is corded, there is no battery to charge or wear out. If staff need to move away from their desk during calls, a wireless headset will suit them better.

Choosing the right Evolve2 40 version

The Jabra Evolve2 40 is available in a range of versions to suit different working requirements:

UC or Microsoft Teams

This is the UC version, made for unified communications platforms. If your business runs on Microsoft Teams, choose the MS version, which is Teams-certified.

USB-A or USB-C

This version has a USB-A plug, the standard rectangular port on most desktop PCs and many laptops. For newer laptops with only USB-C ports, choose the USB-C version.

Stereo or Mono

This stereo version covers both ears and blocks out the most background noise. The mono version covers one ear and leaves the other free, which suits reception desks and anyone who needs to hear people in the room.

UC Platform Compatibility

The Evolve2 40 UC connects to Windows and Mac computers by USB and works as plug-and-play, with no driver to install. It is certified for leading UC platforms including Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco Webex.
