Innovative Design

Separate Control Buttons

The two control buttons are separated from each other by the Antenna, this facilitates easy operation even with gloves.

Large Colour Display

The high resolution, transflective 1.8 Inch LCD Colour Display provides a good readability even under very bright lighting conditions.

Ergonomic Keypad

The Robust hand held Radio has a large keypad and is easy to operate even under difficult operating conditions.

Robustness and Reliability

The Radio meets the requirements of MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G Standards and has passed the HALT tests (Highly Accelerated Life Test).

Dust and Waterproof

The PD785 meets the requirements of degree of protection IP67 and has passed the corresponding immersion test of up to 30 minutes in a water depth of 1 metre.

Emergency Mode

Raise an alarm with top priority to a base station or to other Radios with the pre-programmed emergency mode, identifying the ID of the person who is issuing the alarm. Also receive emergency notifications.

Lone Worker

The Lone Worker feature uses a timer in the radio to measure inactivity. If the timer expires, a warning is issued, and if there is no response to that, the alarm is triggered.

Pseudo Trunking

Using Pseudo Trunking, a Hytera patented technology, slots can be shared to improve capacity usage with transmissions either direct to handset or to repeater.

XPT

Hytera XPT (Extended Pseudo Trunking) enables you to use limited spectrum resources more efficiently, dynamically assigning channel resource without needing a dedicated control channel.

Improved use of the Radio Spectrum

Thanks to the TDMA process the PD785 allows an assignment of the available bandwidth with double channel capacity. This results in a clear relief of the increasing spectrum scarcity.
