Standard with the HP685 is a long battery life exceeding 20 hours (at a 5-5-90 cycle). This capability ensures that users can complete their shifts without the inconvenience of having to recharge or swap the battery.

Frequencies

The Hytera HP685 is available in both UHF and VHF Frequencies.

The Frequency UHF (400-527 MHz), is generally better for indoor use, built-up areas, and environments with obstructions like buildings and concrete, as UHF waves can penetrate these materials more effectively.

The Frequency VHF (136-174 MHz), is generally better for outdoor use and open areas, as VHF waves travel further over clear lines of sight.
