Overview

The Avaya 3730 is a durable DECT handset that facilitates efficient and dependable wireless telephony. Featuring enterprise grade telephony, access to central phonebook, local phonebook, voicemail and more.

The Avaya 3730 IP DECT Telephone is designed with a TFT colour display with 262K colours. The handset display size is 1.8 inches and has a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels LCD with white LED backlight. The backlight enables better operation in darkness.

The 3730 has an internal phonebook that stores up to 250 contacts, up to an additional 1,000 entries can be downloaded from a local company phonebook. Users can also access a centralised phonebook in order to search for other contacts on demand. The handset should be able to automatically register towards the IP-DECT system at start up, giving extra protection to registration during the registration procedure. It also supports centralised management. Using the Avaya in-building Wireless Server (AIWS2), software updates and parameter synchronisations are easily administered over the air. Settings for each handset are stored and administered centrally.

The Avaya 3730 has Duplex, loud speaking function, enabling it to be used as a conference phone at a distance of 1.5m or closer to the handset. It has a 3.5mm jack for the connection of headphones, and a display illuminated in colour, with a talk time of up to 15 hours and a standby time of up to 170 hours in optimal conditions, ideal for  any user.
