This means that they can be phoned quickly without the need to input the whole number in full. If you ring a number and it has not been stored normally you would have to re input it again. The redial button on the Voyager Small Footprint 9825 phone means that it will call the last telephone number dialled.

If you want a handset that does not work until a button is pressed there is also a push to talk version available as well. This is ideal for high security areas or anyone who does not want confidential conversations to be overheard by accident.
