2N EasyGate Pro - Analogue GSM / UMTS Gateway

The 2N® EasyGate PRO is single channel Analogue GSM / UMTS Gateway that is suitable for installation in a lift environment. Not only can it be connected to emergency lift communication systems, it can also be used for the immediate replacement of an landline. Its also an ideal solution if your monthly landline costs are too high.

The 2N® EasyGate PRO GSM / UMTS Gateway is set up from production so you don’t have to programme anything and you can start to use it immediately. It has a signal strength indicator and, thanks to a back-up power supply, is resistant to power outages. What’s more, in addition to calls, it can transfer data and send text messages and automatically sends information to a pre-defined number.

Basic Functions

The primary purpose of 2N® EasyGate Pro GSM / UMTS is to transmit voice between a UMTS or GSM network and an attached analogue communication device connected to the FXS interface on the EasyGate.

You can establish data connection and send/receive SMS in combination with a PC.

You can send an SMS to a pre-programmed number using the SMS sending input.

The battery backed-up EasyGate version allows you to maintain your traffic even in the event of power outage.

Fixed Line Replacement

Take advantage of the 2N® EasyGate PRO fixed line replacement. Anywhere a fixed line is not available or where its operation would not pay for itself.

Backup Power Supply

Call Metering Impulses at 16 or 12 KHZ

2N® EasyGate PRO is equipped with a tariff impulse transmitter. These serve to determine the call pricing or duration of an attached device.

Automatic Dialing

In the event of a long lasting pick-up of the handset without dialing a number, a predefined number is dialed automatically.

Easy Installation

Thanks to the ‘plug & play’ solution you don’t have to wait for a fixed line to be put in, or to spend time on device configuration. In addition, you also get a power supply backup.

SMS Monitoring

The GSM/UMTS gateway can keep you informed via SMS about an outage the main power, its coming on again, and the status of the backup batteries.

Plug & Play Installation

Basic installation consists of inserting a SIM card, entering the PIN code and connecting the analogue line device to the relevant port on the gateway. After that, you can start making calls immediately.

SMS Input

The gateway can also be used for monitoring. On detecting a switching SMS input, it can send a predefined SMS to a specified number.
