The TAA (Trade Agreements Act) was enacted to govern trade agreements between the United States and foreign countries. Passed by the 96th U.S. Congress in 1979, the TAA is a piece of legislation approving and implementing multiple trade agreements previously enacted and negotiated between the U.S. and other countries under the Trade Act of 1974. One of the principal features of the Act is that it limits the U.S. Government procurement to US-made products or products made in designated countries. These countries include, but are not limited to, the US, Germany, South Korea and Japan.
Our company is proud to be TAA-compliant on a select range of wired headsets, wireless headsets, accessories and from May 2023 web and conference cameras, which means we follow the rules set out and manufacture these products within South Korea and Taiwan. This makes these products eligible for procurement by organizations that are also TAA-compliant and receive special benefits such as priority access to government contracts.
By purchasing headsets and video conferencing equipment which are TAA-compliant, you can be assured that they meet the regulations set by the US government and are eligible for procurement by TAA-compliant organizations, such as the government and its agencies.
