For users with hearing loss or memory loss, users who struggle to hear the telephone ring or struggle to hear conversations and for users who struggle to remember important telephone numbers and find using a standard telephone difficult, the Amplicomms Powertel 2880 has been designed with those users in mind and helps to alleviate those struggles.

The Amplicomms PowerTel 2880 is a combo set that includes both a Corded Telephone and a Cordless DECT Phone. The Corded Phone has a built in Answering Machine with a recording time of up to 30 minutes, playback of any messages can be listened to via either the Cordless Handset or the Cordless Phone. To ensure users can hear the message easily and clearly the SLOW Key on the Corded Phone can be pressed and messages are played slower so none of the message is missed or misunderstood. The PowerTel 2880 is hearing aid compatible.

Both the Corded and Cordless Phones feature Amplified Volume - Up to 40dB Receiver Volume and up to 90dB Ringer Volume as well as high quality audio, and large buttons reducing the risk of mis-dialing numbers. There is also a handsfree option on both of the phones allowing users to get on with tasks if needed whilst speaking on the phone.
