The handset offers a large 1.8” (32 x 34 mm [w x h]) colour display screen, with 96 x 64 pixel, high-contrast visual clarity. Four choices are available for the display light colour. Select each of your special contacts as a VIP call with individual melody and display colour. There are 20 ringtone options on the handset so you’ll be able to hear right away who’s calling.

The energy-saving power supply of the Gigaset A540H consumes less electricity, so it’s kinder to the environment, and kinder to your wallet. Like all Gigaset cordless phones, it variably reduces the transmitting power from the handset to base station depending on their distance apart. You can also reduce the transmitting power of the Gigaset A540H’s base station by 80% simply by selecting the ECO Mode. Furthermore, radiation-free ECO Mode Plus turns off the transmitting power when the phone is in standby.
