Belltone 901 Door Entry & Interface Kit

BT901 Is an external audio access system that interfaces with your own home phone.

The BT901 Telephone interface offers the convenience of operating a door entry system from an existing BT / home telephone without interfering with its normal usage. All types of domestic telephones are compatible with the BT901 including cordless DECT telephones which are of great benefit to those people with limited mobility. The interface may also connect onto a telephone switchboard (PABX). In addition to conversing with a caller at the front door panel the resident may allow them access by operating the lock release directly from their telephone. The interface is housed in an attractive and discreet ABS plastic enclosure which is designed for wall mounting in any indoor location, preferably next to the telephone line and a power point. Model BT901 BellTone entry system Is a complete system that includes all the necessary parts to carry out a successful installation.

The system comprises • model BT1 interface unit • model SPA1 one button surface panel • model 61 speech unit • model 340c 12V DC power supply • model 203 surface lock release.

The external panel is a contemporary and attractive style. Manufactured from 3 mm brushed anodized aluminium with an integral grill that protects the speech unit and complements the surface back box.

A single push-button with integral nameplate is provided. This push-button has a versatile operation whereby pressure from any part of the nameplate will initiate a call. The nameplate can easily be removed from the front for replacement or amendment of the name on the paper insert (included with each button).

As standard, the panels are supplied with a low-profile surface-mounting box moulded in metallic-slate. The panel is fixed with vandal resistant screws (a 1/4" hex screwdriver bit is supplied with each panel).

Optional backlighting can be achieved by fitting a lamp unit to each push-button;

NOTE The lock release supplied will not fit all doors but is the most popular "yale" type.
