For users with hearing loss or memory loss, remembering important telephone numbers and using a standard telephone can be difficult. The Amplicomms Powertel 196 has been designed with those users in mind and helps to alleviate those difficulties.

The Amplicomms Powertel 196 is ideal for both home and business use, the big button corded phone provides premium sound amplification to 60dB with full duplex to ensure clear conversation even at amplified sound levels without feedback, echo or sound distortion. Adjustable ringers (90dB), tone and volume with boost to 60dB makes this phone the ideal choice for anyone with hearing loss.

The Amplicomms Powertel 196 has a large backlit display that shows the callers ID (Name and Number) whilst on a call, it will also show the date whilst in standby mode, the display has 5 adjustable contrasts to suit the users needs.

The Red LED Indicator on the phone flashes when a call is incoming, meaning users with hearing loss are less likely to miss a call when they are nearby the phone or in the same room.

The phone can be wall mounted and includes a 200 name and number phonebook and stores a log of the 30 missed, outgoing and answered calls, and is hearing aid compatible. The Powertel 196 is 32 times louder than a standard Telephone.
