Action On Hearing Loss T307 Cleartext Textphone

The ClearText is a textphone for profoundly deaf people who are unable to hear on amplified telephones. It enables you to send and receive calls by typing and receiving text.

It is designed to be the easiest textphone to use. It has a large, clear screen and can display multiple lines of text, making text conversations quicker and easier. The on-screen menu has been structured to be simpler than other textphones.

It also automatically inserts the prefix number for dialling Typetalk (the textphone relay service) so you don't have to insert the number.

There's a one-touch emergency services button so you can get through as quickly as possible.

The text size on screen can be adjusted up to a maximum of 12mm in height. The full size keyboard makes it much quicker and more comfortable to make longer textcalls. There's also a text answerphone for people to leave you messages.

When you make a textcall a text message will appear on your screen to show you whether the phone is ringing or engaged.
