The Role Of X2 Connect NETms

Optimising operational efficiency has another vital dimension: the part played by X2Connect's own remote management system, X2Connect NETms. This Windows 2000-based system currently deployed by dozens of leading operators around the world can be used with X2Connect’s complete product portfolio. Several new services have been developed to complement the new X2Connect NET range. Also, because X2Connect NETms can now 'interrogate' a suspect terminal, a potentially expensive visit to that terminal can be avoided.

Network Interfaces

Depending on their specific needs, operators have a choice of cost-effective and fully embedded network interfaces. At present, these include analogue PSTN, ISDN and GSM. Adapting to another network type is simply a case of replacing a single module.

Upgrades

The X2Connect NET200 flexible modular architecture is impressive for upgrading at minimal cost, thereby extending its profitable life span. Hardware upgrades are available from card only to allpayment terminals. Software upgrades are easily implemented using X2Connect’s unique, reliable code download service. A module upgrade enables the X2Connect NET200 units to be converted to X2Connect NET300. The X2Connect NET300 provides a larger display for information services or text messaging.
