The Kenwood KHS-1 headset is a headset that is designed to work with the Kenwood Protalk TK3201 T2 two way radio. It is an over the head design so it has a headband that goes across the top of the head and has one earpiece that sits on the ear. If you are very active and move around a lot this type of design is very secure and less likely to fall off.

One of the facilities of the Kenwood KHS-1 is that it has voice activation so the user can talk without pressing a button. This is particularly useful if both of your hands a busy for example if you were driving a fork lift truck. Also so the headset doesn’t just work when it is noisy there is a sensitivity control as well.

If you do not want this facility the Kenwood over the head headset also has the ability to be set to push to talk or PTT.
