The Ericsson Dialog 4225 Vision Telephone is designed for the most demanding supervisory and executive office use. This multi-featured, top-of-the-line model supports advanced Ericsson system management functions. The Ericsson Dialog 4225 phone features an aditional 10 programmable keys on the main unit, and a large, six-row, backlit graphical display with three navigation keys and four programmable softkeys.

Using the navigation keys in combination with softkeys, users can access a display menu with numerous system features, which include a phonebook, and details of the call list, diversions, absence reason etc. for the multiple extensions. The Dialog 4225 Vision supports an extra high quality hands-free speech function, offering full duplex and Acoustic Echo Canceling (AEC), suitable for meetings and conference calls.

A headset can be connected directly to the integrated headset port, and toggling between the handset and headset is controlled by a dedicated key. The number of blf extensions can be extended up to a maximum four DBY 419 add-on-modules. Each module displays 17 busy lamp fields bringing the potential system management up to a total of 78 lines across the exchange.
