Siemens Gigaset S675 DECT cordless phone with answering machine. ECO DECT technology by Siemens for 60% less energy use (claimed) and variable reduction of transmitting (radiating) power. Generous specification and expandable up to 6 handsets the S675 is a serious performer. 40 minute record time, handsfree speakerphone, colour lcd and large phonebook all combine to make the S675 a must have especially as Siemens legendry build quality is present in spades. Headset compatibility is via a 2.5mm socket or use a DECT headset from Plantronics for wireless freedom.

Energy saving ECO DECT means the switched power supply provides up to 60% less electricity consumption compared to conventional power supplies. Transmitting power switched off means the radio signal of the base is switched off automatically if the handset is placed in the base station, and if only 1 handset is registered. Eco Mode Manual reduction of the radio signal by 80% is possible with the handset. Variable transmitting power means the handset automatically reduces transmitting power as determined by the distance to the base.
