The Polycom VoiceStation 500 is a Bluetooth enabled conference phone for desktops, offices and other small rooms. With Bluetooth, users can connect a suitably equipped mobile phone wirelessly for hands free voice conferencing, or to a suitable equipped PC for high quality VoIP conferencing, using services like Skype. Its microphone has a range of up to seven feet and thanks to Acoustic Clarity Technology, it delivers significantly improved voice quality over the previous model and three sensitive microphones offer 360-degree coverage. Full duplex technology ensures that everyone on the call can be heard.
